With over a decade of experience, Equics Pvt. Ltd. has established a strong nationwide presence. Our infrastructure includes wholesale and retail outlets, state-of-the-art cold storage facilities, efficient dry warehouses, and a dedicated fleet of distribution vehicles, ensuring seamless delivery of goods.

Under the visionary leadership of Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Zaki, and the support of Company Secretary Humaidha Hameed, Equics Pvt. Ltd. began as a modest general trading venture. Initially focused on importing food, beverage, and hygiene products, we have grown into a professionally managed organization with expertise in merchandising, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Ibrahim Zaki: Visionary Entrepreneur and Founder of Equics Pvt. Ltd.

Ibrahim Zaki is a seasoned entrepreneur who has transformed Equics Pvt. Ltd. into one of the leading wholesale and retail companies in the Maldives. With over 35 years of experience in the FMCG sector, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s success and reputation.

Starting his career in accounting and international relations, Mr. Zaki worked in various managerial roles across government and private sectors, including the resort industry. His entrepreneurial journey began with Hazash Enterprises and continued with the founding of Equics Pvt. Ltd. in 2007.

Under Mr. Zaki’s leadership, Equics has grown from a family-run business into a trusted name, serving over 750 wholesale and retail customers across the Maldives. His innovative approach, dedication, and business acumen have driven the company's consistent growth and popularity.

Committed to meeting the needs of customers, Mr. Zaki envisions expanding Equics by importing diverse products, opening larger retail outlets in Male City, and becoming a key supplier of frozen and chilled items to resorts and islands across the Maldives.
